An evidence-based mental health program managed by Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA), Ontario and CMHA York and South Simcoe is being rolled out across the province.
The Ontario government announced today that Bounce Back, a self-help and coaching program designed to help adults reduce unhelpful thinking, worry less and improve their mood, is one of three provincewide psychotherapy programs that will be available to support people living with anxiety and depression.
The province is also investing in in-person individual and group psychotherapy counselling programs coordinated through Ontario’s four speciality mental health hospitals, as well as an online mental health self-management tool.
“The programs announced today can help the thousands of Ontarians who struggle daily with mild to moderate depression and anxiety, giving them the tools to boost their mood and improve their health and happiness,” said Camille Quenneville, CEO of Canadian Mental Health Association, Ontario.
